About Spectrum Bars Pro
How it works
The effect uses a high-resolution FFT with configurable window sizes (1024 to 8192 samples) for adjustable frequency resolution. Frequency bins are grouped using either linear or logarithmic scaling to match human pitch perception. Each bar applies independent attack and release smoothing, with separate peak trackers that decay at a configurable rate. The GPU shader handles gradient fills, reflections, and glow effects in a single draw pass for optimal performance.

MusicMind Engine
Chord Detection (L3) groups bars into harmonic clusters for musically meaningful display, Key Color Mapping (L6) applies key-aware gradient fills, and Timbral Fingerprint (L10) adjusts per-band sensitivity to match perceptual loudness curves.

Spectrum Bars Pro applies equal loudness weighting to frequency bands, so the visual levels match what you actually perceive — not raw signal amplitude.
