Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the analysis?+
MusicMind uses published algorithms — Krumhansl-Kessler key profiles, autocorrelation tempo estimation, and harmonic template matching. We have not yet published accuracy benchmarks; evaluation is in progress. All 14 layers run locally in your browser.
Is my audio uploaded to servers?+
No. All analysis runs locally in your browser using native Web Audio APIs. Your audio never leaves your device.
What formats are supported?+
MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and AAC. Any format your browser can decode will work.
Is the full report really free?+
Yes. Every section of the MusicMind Report is free and unlimited, with no account required to analyze. Artist ($12/mo) is for the visualizer studio: unlimited clean 1080p renders with no watermark and commercial use.
Can I share my report?+
Signed-in users can generate a shareable link that creates a public report page. Anyone with the link can view the analysis results.
Can I save a report as a PDF?+
Yes. Every report has a "Download PDF" button. The PDF is made in your browser, with a cover, every section and the Measured / Estimated / Hypothesized labels, and saves as "[Track name] — MusicMind Report.pdf". Nothing is uploaded.
