About Lofi Astronaut Ecosystem
How it works
The astronaut is a pre-modeled low-poly mesh with skeletal animation driven by audio energy (subtle breathing, arm drift, head tilt). The helmet visor uses a reflective material with a dynamic environment map that encodes frequency data as colored light patterns. The space environment is a multi-layered parallax system: distant starfield (point particles), mid-ground nebula (billboard sprites with audio-reactive opacity), and foreground debris (small instanced meshes with physics-based drift). Post-processing applies film grain, chromatic aberration, and a warm color LUT. The planet is a sphere with an atmospheric scattering shader whose color responds to spectral centroid.

MusicMind Engine
Build Detection (L5) gently shifts astronaut pose intensity during subtle energy changes, Rhythm Pattern (L9) syncs helmet visor reflections to the lofi groove pattern, and Temporal Memory (L12) gradually evolves the cosmic backdrop color temperature across the track.

Lofi Astronaut's warm palette and slow particle drift are calibrated for the 70–90 BPM "relaxed/calm" zone in tempo-emotion research.
