About Infinite Gyroid
How it works
The gyroid is rendered using ray marching against the implicit surface defined by sin(x)*cos(y) + sin(y)*cos(z) + sin(z)*cos(x) = threshold. The threshold parameter is modulated by bass energy, controlling the surface openness. Additional audio-reactive terms are added to the equation to create localized deformations driven by frequency band energies. The camera follows a smooth path through the surface using a pre-computed collision-free spline. Surface normals are computed analytically from the gradient of the implicit function. Material uses a combination of Fresnel reflectance and subsurface scattering approximation for a translucent, organic appearance.

MusicMind Engine
Tension Analysis (L4) modulates the gyroid threshold parameter based on harmonic tension, Timbral Fingerprint (L10) shapes surface deformation by the audio's spectral texture, and Temporal Memory (L12) smoothly evolves surface parameters over the song's timeline.
