About Crystal Cave
How it works
Crystal formations are procedurally generated using seeded Voronoi tessellation to determine growth sites, then extruded along randomized axes with faceted geometry. Each crystal is assigned a resonant frequency band. During playback, crystals in active bands increase their emissive intensity and apply a subtle vibration displacement. Volumetric fog is approximated using ray-marched screen-space scattering. The camera follows a pre-computed spline path through the cave, with movement speed tied to overall audio energy. Refraction effects use screen-space techniques to simulate light passing through translucent crystal faces.

MusicMind Engine
Tension Analysis (L4) modulates crystal vibration intensity from harmonic dissonance, Key Color Mapping (L6) selects prismatic refraction colors by detected key, and Narrative Arc (L7) paces camera movement through chambers based on the song's dramatic structure.
