About Neon KIFS Crystal
How it works
The KIFS fractal is rendered using ray marching with an iterative distance estimator. Each iteration applies: (1) an absolute-value fold (reflecting coordinates across planes), (2) a rotation matrix parameterized by audio-modulated angles, (3) a scale and translate operation. After N iterations (typically 8-12), the distance to a primitive shape (box or sphere) is returned. Audio features modulate the fold plane positions, rotation angles, and scale factor. The surface material uses a combination of emissive neon coloring (driven by spectral data) and specular reflection for the crystalline appearance. Multi-pass bloom with high intensity creates the characteristic neon glow.

Tension Analysis (L4) drives KIFS fold amplitude from harmonic dissonance, Timbral Fingerprint (L10) maps crystal surface emission color to the audio's spectral shape, and Temporal Memory (L12) blends between crystal configurations across the song's timeline.
