About Graphic Strobe Canvas
How it works
The effect maps beat events to a library of graphic transitions using the beat grid for precise timing. Each transition is a programmatic animation: scale, position, rotation, opacity, and color of graphic primitives are set to target values on beat events and snap instantly (no easing). The primitive library includes rectangles, circles, triangles, lines, and text blocks, all rendered as 2D screen-space elements using WebGL quads. Color palettes cycle through a configurable set of high-contrast pairs. Strobe timing is quantized to subdivisions of the beat (quarter, eighth, sixteenth notes) for rhythmically precise flashing. A photosensitivity limiter caps the maximum flash rate.

MusicMind Engine
Build Detection (L5) increases strobe frequency during energy ramps, Rhythm Pattern (L9) quantizes flash timing precisely to the detected beat grid subdivisions, and Temporal Memory (L12) cycles graphic color palettes across song sections for visual variety.

Graphic Strobe's flash timing is quantized to the detected rhythm pattern grid, syncing strobes to the beat rather than raw energy peaks.
