About EDM Mainstage
How it works
The stage structure is a pre-modeled mesh with emissive panels that display audio-reactive patterns (frequency bars, waveforms, color washes). Lasers are rendered as volumetric cone meshes with emission intensity and color driven by audio energy, with sweep angles tied to beat position. Pyrotechnic effects use particle systems triggered by onset detection. The crowd is a billboard strip with animated silhouettes using sprite sheet animation keyed to beat timing. Fog is rendered as multiple alpha-blended noise planes that catch laser light through a custom scattering function. The camera has subtle crowd-sway motion for immersion.

MusicMind Engine
Build Detection (L5) times pyrotechnic blasts to predicted drop moments, Rhythm Pattern (L9) sweeps laser arrays in sync with the detected groove pattern, and Temporal Memory (L12) coordinates LED wall content transitions across the full song structure.

EDM Mainstage's drop detection uses the emotional arc's "Drop Cycle" template to time visual explosions at predicted high-energy moments.
