About Quantum Lattice
How it works
Nodes are positioned on a 3D lattice grid (configurable crystal structure) and connected by edges to their structural neighbors. A wave propagation simulation runs on the lattice: each node has an energy value that diffuses to neighbors at a rate controlled by audio-reactive coupling parameters. Energy is injected into specific nodes based on frequency band mapping (bass at center, treble at edges, or spatially distributed). Nodes are rendered as instanced sphere meshes with emissive intensity proportional to energy, and edges are rendered as instanced cylinders with opacity proportional to energy flux between connected nodes.

Tension Analysis (L4) sets wave coupling strength from harmonic tension levels, Timbral Fingerprint (L10) assigns node resonant frequencies from the audio's spectral fingerprint, and Temporal Memory (L12) governs wave propagation decay rates based on the song's evolving tempo.
