About DNA Helix
How it works
The double helix is constructed as two parametric curves wound around a shared axis, with the parametric equation generating positions along the standard DNA helix geometry. Each strand is rendered as a tube mesh with per-vertex displacement driven by the respective stereo channel waveform. Base pair connections are instanced cylinder meshes with emissive intensity modulated by frequency band energy. The helix rotation speed is mapped to RMS energy, and the winding tightness (pitch of the helix) responds to spectral centroid. A subtle depth-of-field post-processing effect keeps the mid-section in focus while softening the ends.

MusicMind Engine
Section Detection (L1) controls helix winding tightness per song section, Build Detection (L5) accelerates rotation during energy buildups, and Spatial Intelligence (L8) maps left/right stereo separation to the two helix strands independently.
