Core Thesis

The playbook works when teams treat playback resilience as a sequence of public reads rather than a purely intuitive call.

First read

Begin with spectral brightness, stereo width, and transient sharpness. Translation problems usually announce themselves there before they appear as vague dissatisfaction.

Decision point

If the record cuts through but fatigues, adjust tone and attack. If it feels premium in studio but disappears elsewhere, correct the translation corridor rather than chasing louder masters blindly.

Handoff

Use compare workflows and benchmark briefings to keep the final decision evidence-based, especially when multiple revisions sound "better" in different ways.
